Methodology and toolkit for cartel detection

In 2006 the Interdisciplinary Centre for Studies in History, Economy and Society carried out work under contract from the Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS) on the compilation of a series of methodological recommendations governing the detection of price cartels in commodity markets, the streamlining of land-allotment procedures for housing construction, and the outsourcing of housing service and maintenance in tender procedures. These recommendations have since been implemented and the criteria elaborated by the centre are currently in use with the Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation.
